It is a karst feature rare in the area, easy to see from the road, and in winter the water freezes into columns of ice.
About the place
The waterfall is on the left bank of the stream that runs beside the road between Cheia and Moieciu de Sus, about 1 km from the Cheile Grădiștei complex. Water seeps out of the slope and trickles in thin threads down a moss-covered wall; the calcium carbonate in the water settles and forms travertine.
In summer it is not a big waterfall, but in winter it changes: the water freezes into columns and curtains of ice. It scores 4.2 on Google from almost 1,500 reviews.
